To find an answer, we decided to visit a reliable reference site that we already knew: eHow. It's easy to search, and we're always impressed by the breadth and depth of their tutorials. At eHow, we searched on "horse care" and found over 20 clear, concise articles covering everything from how to clean a saddle or groom a horse to caring for a horse in a stable, which describes in detail the fine points of equipping a healthful stall for your horse. We read a lot of great stuff, but unfortunately didn't get even a whiff of cleaning information. Next, we
moseyed down the search-engine trail. On Google we found an intelligent article about stall design from the pages of The Horse Interactive, a guide to equine healthcare. On Yahoo!'s web page matches (courtesy of Inktomi), we hit the daily double: a site titled "Care of the Horse," offers a nitty-gritty description of cleaning stalls, and an article titled "Keeping Your Horse's Stall Clean" even explains how to turn manure into compost. Finally, we tried one more tactic. We browsed through Yahoo!'s Ask an
Expert category. At a site called Allexperts, we searched on horses and found our way to a page with the email addresses of more than a dozen amateur horse experts saddled up and ready to answer your questions.
