The Internet is a great source for product reviews, even for kitchen items. In the end, it all boils down to whose opinion you trust. To help you decide, we'll point to some popular product-review sites. To find these sites, we went to Yahoo!'s Consumer Advocacy and Information category and browsed the listings, keeping an eye out for reviews of kitchen utensils and cooking gadgets. Here's what we found: At Productopia, we came across "Cooking" within the "Appliances" category and checked out a few of the product reviews. They break down their articles into sections on "Quality," "Style," and "Value." They also offer helpful hints to keep
in mind while shopping. If you're looking for utensils, we're pretty sure you'll find the Cutlery and Kitchen Tools sections handy. As far as gadgets go, Productopia provides a good amount of information on kitchen appliances. Next up: Epinions provides an elaborate system of reviews, written by users and ranked by effectiveness. We clicked through their directory and found three categories that should help, Small Appliances, Cookware,
and Cutlery. You may have to sift through a lot of opinions, but if you're willing to put in some time, you'll undoubtedly find some must-have items for your kitchen. You might also try Deja.com, which compiles user reviews and Usenet News postings. These reviews are also written by regular Joes, so you'll need to take a little extra care when considering whom to trust. With these sites and some shopping savvy, you should be dining in style in no time.
