Dear Yahoo!:
Where can I find a list of current world leaders (presidents, prime ministers, kings, etc.)?
Adam
Madison, Wisconsin
Dear Adam:
As you can imagine, the Web is awash with information and lists covering every possible governmental topic and issue. To find the answer to your question, we searched on three key terms -- "world leaders list" -- and quickly found what we wanted.

We stopped at GovSpot, a self-described "non-partisan government information portal." We clicked on the Chiefs of State link, which took us to a page on the Central Intelligence Agency's web site. The incredibly detailed list presents each country's chiefs of state and cabinet members. The list is so complete that finding even the most obscure positions proved to be a snap. For instance, we learned that Sierra Leone's Minister of Mineral Resources is Mohamed Alhaji Deen. The list is regularly updated, and there's information on countries we didn't even realize existed (Guinea-Bissau? Kyrgyzstan?).

We usually double-check our work. However, we figured there's no better source on the subject of international heads of state than our country's CIA. If they don't know that Paramango Ernest Yonli is the Prime Minister of Burkina Faso, then who does?
