Dear Yahoo!:
Where can I find the lyrics to "That's Amore"?
Sandra
Rock Falls, Illinois
Dear Sandra:
Having recently watched the old movie Moonstruck on TV, the song, one of our favorites, was pretty fresh in our heads. We couldn't vouch for all of the words, however, so we turned to our trusty sidekick, the Yahoo! search box, to fill in the blanks.

A search on "that's amore" proved a little too broad, even with the quotation marks -- apparently it's a pretty popular phrase for everything from restaurants to article titles. Rethinking our strategy, we tried a search on "that's amore lyrics" and hit the pasta payload. Numerous web pages list the words to this classic.

The song, made famous by Dean Martin, was written by Harry Warren and Jack Brooks, and hit number 2 on the Billboard music chart in 1953. It was originally featured in the movie The Caddy.

And in case you were wondering, a "tarantella" is a "lively folk dance of southern Italy," and "pasta fazool" is a pasta dish made with white beans.
