It only seems appropriate to start with this classic exchange between Elaine and Jerry from Seinfeld: Elaine: "What is so appealing to men about a catfight?" Jerry: "Because men think if women are grabbing and clawing at each other, there's a chance they might somehow kiss." Renewing the ongoing dialogue of the differences between what women and men find sexy, this recent racy beer ad has generated an enormous amount of buzz. The commercial is derided by some as sexist, while others prefer to think of it as a lighthearted spoof. The ad in question features
two models arguing over Miller Lite's time-honored "Less Filling, Tastes Great" mantra. Their spat soon escalates into a full-throttle catfight with clothes being ripped and hair being pulled while they writhe half-naked in a pool. The ad quickly cuts to two men in a bar dreamily asking who wouldn't want to see such an ad, and then shows their two female companions who aren't amused in the slightest by their fantasy. Thanks to the popularity of the ad, the two women prominently featured throwing blows in the name of beer have become overnight sensations and minor celebrities in their own right. The brunette is Kitana Baker (Warning: This links to her official site, which contains some naughty content), a model who's been featured
in Playboy publications and TV shows. Her resume lists her credits to date. The blonde featured in the spot is Tonya Ballinger. A search of her name on Yahoo! and Google turned up absolutely nothing. While she doesn't have her own official home on the Net just yet, we assume it's only a matter of time. In the meantime, the dynamic duo will be featured in a Stuff magazine layout in May or June of this year, according to the New York Post's Page Six. We're betting on a rematch in the not-too-distant future.
