We've always heard that ginger ale is a miracle stain-remover, but that's the extent of our knowledge. To find a more complete answer to the question, we performed a simple search on "stain removal" (using quotation marks around the term) and, happily, we found a Yahoo! Stain Removal category. Tide's Stain Detective offers an interactive tool for determining the best method to remove a particular stain. First, you pick a type of food, juice, or drink stain; next, you select the type of fabric; and finally you choose whether the fabric has any colors. You asked about a
specific stain: pizza on carpet. To learn about that combination, we headed to Interactive Stain Removal Guide for Carpet and Rug. Unfortunately, pizza wasn't one of the stains covered in the guide. We figured catsup was fairly close to pizza sauce in composition, and the site's four-step procedure for catsup removal was incredibly detailed. Finally, Fabriclink's Holiday, Party and Everyday Stains Guide included a guide to tomato-based stains, as well as directions on how to remove cheese sauce from fabric. If the aforementioned sites don't help you remove the pizza stains from your carpet, it might be time
to think about rearranging the furniture.
